We opened our eighth branch office
With the opening of our eighth office at Bahnhofplatz 18 in Winterthur, we are making official what has been apparent for some time with more and more mandates in the region from Effretikon to Lake Constance and from Tösstal to Embrach: The real estate market here is attractive and our expertise is in demand. Thus, in keeping with our credo "Close to the real estate, close to our customers", we were finally able to take this step after a not at all easy, but ultimately very successful search for the right location.
Switzerland's sixth-largest city has grown from just under 104,000 to over 120,000 inhabitants in the last ten years. This is hardly surprising, considering the ever-increasing attractiveness of the former industrial city, which has developed into a valued service, education, cultural and leisure centre. With the revitalisation of the former industrial areas, a colourful second centre district has developed, the city has above-average green spaces, is considered the most bicycle-friendly city in the country and was awarded the Wakker Prize for exemplary townscape protection by the Swiss Heritage Society in 1989 for its charming residential quarters as well as the extensive and car-free old town.
The city, which is one of the most attractive economic regions in Switzerland, is a prosperous place where people like to work and live. Just like the green and rural region all around, which offers a high quality of life with its much more relaxed pace compared to the greater Zurich area. All this makes Winterthur an ideal market for Ginesta, which we want to help shape as part of the local commercial landscape.
Accordingly, we started with a fully staffed and already well-rehearsed team of three under the leadership of Mirjam Fehr, who is actively supported by real estate consultant Alice Zurflüh and assistant Nhu Ai Duong.
