Freienbach with its 16,000 inhabitants is located in the district of Höfe. Pfäffikon SZ, capital of the municipality of Freienbach, is known as the service, educational, cultural, leisure and economic centre of Canton Schwyz.

Public transport

In 30 minutes the RegioExpress takes you from Pfäffikon SZ station to Zurich Main Station; 45 minutes by public transport to Zurich Airport. The 6 railway stations in the municipality (Bäch, Freienbach, Freienbach SOB, Pfäffikon, Hurden and Wilen) are served by the S-Bahn S2, S5, S8, S25 and S40. Seven different bus lines provide fine access to the municipality.
