Location
At a position of 1,560 meters above sea level, Davos is the highest town in Europe. Public transport connections
Davos Platz can be reached by train from Zurich's main station in a good 2.5 hours. By car, the journey to Davos is just under 2 hours.

Winter
Five ski regions await you, whether family-friendly or the first ever reduced-speed piste in Europe. With around 300km of pistes offering guaranteed snow and 57 lifts of various kinds, you are sure to find one to suit you. Alternatively, enjoy nature's spectacle on a snow-shoe trek or winter hike - or go sledging, skating, cross-country skiing, or ice climbing. Scenic train routes or horse-drawn carriage rides are great ways to discover the surroundings.
Summer
Get your adrenalin kick on over 1,300km of bike trails, or take advantage of the 700km of signposted rambling routes, themed walks, or panoramic pathways through woodlands teeming with wildlife and enjoy the natural surroundings. There are also zip-wire adventure parks, carriage rides, golf courses and scenic train rides on hand to enable you to discover the stunning beauty of the region.
Shopping
Davos Platz and Davos Dorf have a Migros, a Coop and a Denner providing everything you need on a day-to-day basis. Local bakeries and butchers stock local produce. There are also plenty of fashion and sports outlets available.

Both Davos Dorf and Davos Platz offer a huge array of hotels and restaurants, with over 110 eateries providing a fantastic choice of local specialities, exotic dishes, and haute cuisine.
