Location
Oberägeri in the canton of Zug, with approximately 6'000 residents, is tucked away from the hustle and bustle, yet still close to the city, in an idyllic spot on the northern shores of Lake Ägeri. At an elevation of 724 meters above sea level, it is usually above the fog line. In Switzerland’s most beautiful valley of the Alpine foothills, the exceptional residential neighborhoods here enjoy an unparalleled panoramic view. Zurich, Zug and Lucerne are all located within a convenient distance by car.
Transportation
The national freeways heading to Basel or Chiasso (A2), Chur and Zurich (A3), and Zug or Lucerne (A4), can all be reached within 20 minutes by car. A 20-minute drive also gets you to Zug (13 km), while three-quarters of an hour by car is all you need to reach Zurich (35 km). The drive to Lucerne takes 42 minutes (45 km).
