Trimmis has an attractive residential location due to its location - from the valley floor to Stams. The village has no direct through traffic and therefore has very little traffic in the residential areas. The whole village is exceptionally well connected by public transport. Connections to Landquart, but also to the cantonal capital Chur are very well developed. Trimmis is a family village and therefore also has a well-known above-average school with a modern infrastructure. The recreational areas directly adjoining the settlement area offer a leisure arena for recreation and a wide variety of sporting activities. The hedge landscape with its dry stone walls is certainly worthy of special mention. In many associations a lively club life is cultivated, which offers a very wide range of activities for young and old.
The community is managed in a future-oriented manner and according to economic principles.
