André Ginesta joined the company run by his father in 1969 and can still be found almost daily at the headquarters in Küsnacht. He managed the company for forty years and through his extensive knowledge Ginesta Immobilien developed into one of the most important market players in the greater Zurich area. In 2016, he passed the company completely into the hands of the third generation, his son Claude Ginesta, who has been leading it as CEO since 2010. André Ginesta was Chairman of the Board of Directors until 2019 and is still a member of this highest body as a member of the Board of Directors.
It has always been important to André Ginesta that Ginesta Immobilien operates independently and with a clear focus. Thanks to his many years of experience, he specialized in consulting, appraising and selling homes. His profound knowledge is highly sought after in consulting mandates, which he continues to perform regularly for municipalities and institutional investors.
He was a long-standing board member of the Zurich section of the Swiss Real Estate Association (SVIT). André Ginesta is also a member of the editorial committee of the "Treuhandexperte", an organ of the Swiss Fiduciary Association.
