Real estate brokers of good standing may apply for membership of the Schweizerischen Maklerkammer (SMK), the Swiss Realtors' Alliance, subject to passing the relevant examination. On qualifying, they are accredited with the Swiss seal of approval for first-class quality and performance. Ginesta Real Estate AG has, of course, been a member since its founding. Since 2015, Claude Ginesta has been Vice President and Member of the Board of Directors of the SMK and devotes himself in the framework of this panel to campaigning for the official acknowledgement of the role of estate agent as a profession.
