On 7 November, we invite you to experience a unique photographic journey through Winterthur.

The art exhibition «8400: Winterthur in pictures» includes a multi-faceted photo series that captures the multi-layered history, striking architecture and vibrant life of Winterthur in atmospheric images from the perspective of five photographers.

The pictures taken especially for this occasion are based on the three keywords: Property, Values, Life and show Winterthur from its own wonderful side. The black and white images provide a new perspective and encourage you to enjoy Winterthur from a new angle.

Behind the camera:

Heidi Bürgi is a photographer interested in art and culture who captures special moments and tells visual stories while travelling and in urban landscapes.

Ruben Ibanez prefers to capture the magic of people and nature in macro photography – every moment tells its own story.

Yvonne Albert discovered the world as a girl with her Brownie camera. Today, she captures the poetic and beautiful through her lens and transforms every shot into an experience.

Christoph Schleiss is an experienced nature photographer who masters people and studio photography with equal passion and captures impressive emotions and the beauty of nature.

Ursina Peter creates creative postcard sets on a variety of themes in addition to her passion for graphic design, documentary photography and street photography,
