A dream comes true - The career of Nicole Gull

Nicole makes the race!

From sales supporter to senior real estate consultant for new construction projects - Nicole Gull has turned her career into a race track and sprinted through her training in just a few years.

Even little Nicole loved inspecting building sites with her father and imagining what her future house would look like. She already had a good spatial imagination back then, says Nicole Gull. The green eyes of the now 33-year-old seem to shine a little more when she talks about her dream job at that time: "Something with houses.
But at first, everything turned out differently. On the advice of her parents, today's real estate consultant completed an apprenticeship at a major bank, where she worked as an assistant in the ultra-high net worth of private customer care. After nine years of maturing, she slowed down and wondered whether she was on the right track. She was not, she decided and decided to turn her girlhood dream into reality. From scratch, Nicole applied to Ginesta Immobilien for the advertised position of sales assistant. "It was probably because of my routine in dealing with wealthy clients and my good knowledge of English that I was allowed to introduce myself there," she says and laughs her infectious Nicole laugh. She had to audition several times. Then she got the news that she had won the race for the job.

Nicole, the jumper
At that time, in 2010, five people worked in the sales department at Ginesta, including the two bosses. In addition, there was the property management and one employee for accounting. Nicole supported the team as a sales assistant, took care of the reception and the telephone, worked on sales contracts, calculated property gains taxes, went shopping and taught new sales assistants with the in-house brokerage program. Nicole this, Nicole that, Nicole that. It was totally varied, an all-rounder job, she still raves about her time as a jumper.

Going to school once again
The enthusiasm for real estate continued to push her. She started studying to become a real estate consultant and from then on, in addition to her 100% job at Ginesta, she went to school two evenings a week. With her diploma thesis "Marketing concept for a new building with logo and project name" she successfully completed her training.
It wasn't long before Nicole was offered a job as a marketing specialist by a competitor. She immediately sought an interview with her boss Claude Ginesta, who regretted: "I can't offer you that at the moment." Nicole's career at Ginesta Immobilien was over after two years.

"The mix is the cool thing"

Says Nicole, who recognises the potential in every project, grasps the essence and sells it in the best possible way.

Too little excitement
In the large Walliselle-based real estate company, she was responsible as project manager for the letting of major new construction projects throughout Switzerland. The most significant project comprised 210 apartments. She appreciated the great responsibility, but realised that this real estate job did not get her out of her depth enough. It was too monotonous and not challenging enough for her.
She confided to a colleague at Ginesta that the job was not her thing. The next day, Claude Ginesta wrote to her and told her to call him. Then everything happened very quickly: On Monday the negotiations took place in Küsnacht, and in the evening she had her contract. Claude Ginesta remembers: "Nicole understands quickly and works with heart and mind. When I heard she might be available again, I didn't have to think twice."

Keeping up the pace
Ginesta Immobilien developed at the same pace as Nicole. In the meantime, the company had moved into elegantly styled offices and Nicole met many new faces and mandates. The market was hot - Nicole kept up the pace. As junior real estate consultant for existing properties, she was soon given the lead for the marketing of a development in Männedorf with 39 rental apartments. The first major new construction project for Ginesta was the starting signal for a new era. In the meantime, she has been appointed Senior Real Estate Consultant with a specialty.
