Three weeks ago, we took part in the property conference run by Leading Real Estate Companies of the World in Las Vegas. We saw a considerable number of innovations that could also, feasibly, have an impact on the Swiss property market. Digitalization is advancing at an incredibly fast rate, with the result that the US market is being convulsed by the introduction of disruptive business models. What is astonishing is the amount of money that various enterprises hitherto unfamiliar with the sector are investing in an attempt to change the established broker-market topography permanently. Nevertheless, from exchanges with 3000 realtors from all over the globe it was apparent that effective customer relationships and established agencies have considerable opportunities in this process. It is of ever greater importance that we place the client at the focal point of our actions and not the associated technical paraphernalia.
