Sapün – Schanfigg
Berghaus HEIMELI – simply cosy

A better name for the mountain house and restaurant could not have been thought of: Heimeli. Here, in the middle of the magical mountain world in Sapün, which is best reached via Chur - Langwies - Sapün, you simply feel at home. After a walk in wind and weather, there is hardly anything better than warming up at the tiled stove. On the menu you will find a culinary journey through Graubünden. Enjoy a hearty meal with Capuns or Bündner Krautpizokel, accompanied by a world-class Pinot Noir from northern Grisons. And if you still haven't had enough of the charming "HEIMELI", you can spend the night in one of the ancient Grisons rooms with a purist ambience and wake up the next morning in unspoilt countryside with fresh Alpine air.
Bettina Schlumpf loves the way through the Sapün valley with its steep flanks, beautiful waterfalls and the hearty Maiensässen. "It's like in another world: rustic and cosy. The food is fantastic and the hospitality warm. You simply feel good here," she says enthusiastically.

Pontresina
Segantini Hütte – simply beautiful

Following in the footsteps of the painter Giovanni Segantini (1894-1899), you reach one of the most beautiful vantage points in the Upper Engadine. The ride on Muottas Muragl already gives an idea of the spectacular panorama that opens up to the visitor. From the Muottas Muragl mountain station (2,456 m above sea level) a well-marked path leads steeply up to the Segantini Hut (2,7131 m above sea level) for sure-footed hikers. The view over to St. Moritz is fantastic. The host couple Angelo and Susanna Baggenstoss have many surprises in store for their guests.
Morena Vassella can understand that Giovanni Segantini was deeply impressed by the breathtaking view. "This is where you want to be, this is where you want to stay, because the view touches the soul. I always like to take a break in the Segantini Hut," says Morena.

Die Ochsenalp – simply patschifig

In the Grisons, you take your time, leave the hectic everyday life behind you. The Ochsenalp at 1939 metres above sea level impresses with its unique natural scenery, peaceful mountain scenery and culinary moments. That's why it's a patschifig way to go here. In Graubünden, "patschifig" stands for "cosy". After hiking, appetite is a welcome companion. You take a seat at long tables and slide a little closer together. Traditional dishes are freshly prepared daily. Naturally with regional products.
Natasa Subaric got to know Ochsenalp on a bike tour and made her first stop there. "Since I was up here for the first time, this place has grown dear to my heart. Here I find peace and relaxation. The rustic Bergbeizli serves its guests with everything that the heart and stomach long for. The selected products taste delicious, and combined with the wonderful view they are even better."

Lenzerheide
June Hütte – simply unique

Below the Piz Scalottas lies the cosy and lovingly decorated June Hut with a unique view of a scenery that could not be more beautiful. The restaurant with its low ceiling and wood panelling is a popular meeting place for hikers, bon vivants, bikers and romantics. The June Hütte looks back on a heart-warming as well as tragic history.
Sascha Ginesta recommends that you let the hut hostess Monika tell the story personally. While listening to her explanations, one's gaze slowly wanders over the magnificent panorama - in summer and winter alike.

In conversation with Sascha Ginesta during the hike to the June Hut.
Interview: Carmen Schiltknecht

With the opening of an independent branch office in Chur in 2012, Ginesta began to actively develop the market area of the Grisons. In 2018, the scope of activity was expanded with a further branch in St. Moritz.
Sascha, you are a partner and managing director of both companies and are a native of the Grisons. Are your customers in some cases the same as those of your cousin Claude Ginesta in Küsnacht?

My team of employees and I are passionate about travelling to the most popular tourist destinations in Graubünden every day. In fact, it happens regularly that we deal with the same clients as my cousin when it comes to holiday properties.
What synergies can you exploit?
I was able to access and build on an intact infrastructure right from the start. Thanks to a carefully managed CRM, Ginesta has its own distribution network. This is complemented by a professional website, newsletter and activities on the social media channels. I am proud to be able to write a brand called Ginesta on my sails with 75 years of company experience.
How does the exchange of know-how within the five Ginesta offices work?
We all have access to a common IT infrastructure and take the meeting culture very seriously. We use technical aids such as video telephony. The location no longer matters, but rather the participation and the quick exchange.
How does Ginesta ensure that you are familiar with the latest technologies?
Claude and I attend events in the USA every year. This gives us impulses and allows us to constantly introduce innovative solutions to the Swiss market.
In what way do you use international networks?
To be successful in the international real estate market, a well-maintained network is essential. I often travel to international symposiums and make new contacts. The professionalism of our partner agency and trust play a central role in this. These contacts make it possible to offer our properties abroad on the most prominent platforms and through top-class partners

Further highlights

Take a load off your mind. Alpine air. Culinary delights. Laughter. Sitting together. Starry sky. All this can be experienced by those who visit the mountain restaurants selected by the Bündner Ginesta team.
